4. Strong achievements in industrial R&D and innovative public service platforms

In recent years, the zone has accelerated the construction of a public service platform to create a favorable environment for the development of the digital service industry.

In September 2017, the Anhui provincial government and the Chinese Academy of Sciences officially issued the "Hefei Comprehensive National Science Center Implementation Plan (2017-2020)". The plan proposes building national laboratories, major scientific, and technological infrastructure clusters, a research platform, an industrial innovation platform, world-class universities, and an innovation system, making the center a national innovation platform with a multidimensional innovation system. A core area for national laboratories operating in the zone and the latest results from the innovation platform will be applied to the zone.

5. Digital service statistics and supervision system gradually improved

With the goal of improving the digital service trade statistics system, the zone has created a regional economic big data platform based on the corporate legal person database and the regional economic brain. 

The big data platform integrates private data and external data through data sharing with the Municipal Statistics Bureau and absorbs data and information such as the external macroeconomic situation, industrial trends, and corporate dynamics.

Using data visualization technology and insight analysis, the big data platform is capable of carrying out dynamic monitoring of economic operation in the zone, tracking the development trends of the industry and the new economy, and diagnosing and judging the "economic pulse" of the zone.

Through the development of big data platforms and the application of big data technology, the zone is expected to provide precise services to enterprises at the micro, meso and macro-level, seize industry opportunities, and provide insight into economic trends. It will strongly support digital service statistical innovation, statistical monitoring on economic operations, industrial cultivation, and enterprise services.

6. The service level and environment of the digital service industry are maturing

The zone took the initiative to establish a working mechanism to support the innovative development of digital service exports.

The zone is focusing on the active role of the service trade in advancing supply-side reforms and trade transformation and upgrading, and has taken the initiative to improve its service trade system, policy system, and development models.

Under the principle of "high-end positioning, characteristic development, and professional services", the zone is promoting the rapid development of the service trade, exploring new growth points in service trade, promoting the integration of the modern service industry with advanced manufacturing, coordinating the trade of goods and services, and accelerating the upgrading of foreign trade and the use of foreign capital in an effort to create a new hub for the innovative development of service trading.
