Hefei Gaochuang Co was established in September 2003. It is an operation and management organization for sci-tech business incubation, as well as an accelerator and innovation platform directly under the supervision of the administrative committee of the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.

Industrial parks run by Hefei Gaochuang Co have reported significant progress in attracting enterprises, economic growth, and sci-tech development. By the end of 2019, the company's parks had attracted a total of 1,330 companies and cultivated 446 state-level hi-tech firms. Eight are listed companies, 25 are listed on the New Third Board, and 47 are listed on the Science and Technology Board.
