Hefei tech zone supports training management personnel
The Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone announced April 9 that it will award 100,000 yuan ($14,200) for each senior management personnel training project conducted in the zone.
The zone has been giving priority to talent development and the new payment is another supporting policy to encourage enterprises and training intuitions to help turn junior managers at enterprises into senior management personnel.
Applications for holding training projects are now open to the public.
Applicants can select subjects from a wide range of given options, including macroeconomic situation and countermeasures, enterprise strategic management, financial management and cost analysis, management ideas for modern enterprises, marketing strategy and management, corporate finance and private equity practices, technology innovation and intellectual property, business management laws and regulations, and team management and team building. They can also apply for training projects under a subject they choose themselves.
An applicant can apply for one project under one subject, and up to two training projects under two subjects.
1. Training form
According to the requirements of high-level, small and special characteristics, applicants should carefully set the training courses for each project, take into account the characteristics of the industry and the scope of application, and invite experts from Hefei and other cities to teach. Teaching methods can include themed reports, seminars, academic exchanges and onsite training. The training time for each project is three to five days, with no fewer than 40 students, and projects should be completed before the end of November of that year.
2. Training targets
The training projects are targeted at chairmen, general managers, and CEOs of enterprises above designated size, high-tech enterprises, and high-growth enterprises in the zone that are engaged in industries such as artificial intelligence (AI), next-generation information technology, integrated circuits (IC), intelligent manufacturing, biology and health, ecological and environmental protection, new energy, industrial design, financial accounting and intellectual property.
3. Subsidy standards
Each class will be granted a subsidy of no more than 100,000 yuan. The subsidies are mainly used for necessary expenses such as teaching and venue fees and teaching materials, and no training fees may be charged to the trainees.
Application requirements:
1. Applicants will propose research topics based on the above requirements and the actual situation of the industry. The topic should be clear about the purpose and role of the class, the main content and method, the lecturer, the object of the training and the number of people, as well as the undertaking unit, the time and place of the class, and fill in Annexes 1 and 2.
2. To better serve talents and organize more high-quality training, we are now soliciting various types of lecturers and expert resources from relevant units. Regardless of industry or scope, each unit can recommend one to three lecturers or experts as appropriate according to the actual situation and fill in Annex 3.
3. Applicants should submit paper materials (Annex 1, in duplicate, with official seal) and electronic materials (Annex 1, Annex 2, and Annex 3) to the Comprehensive Division of the High-tech Zone Personnel and Labor Bureau (High-tech Zone Administrative Committee 1221 Office) by 5pm April 17, 2020.
