Gaoxin Middle School attached to University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) will open in the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone.

The school is a collaboration between USTC Basic Education Group and the zone. It is expected to begin enrolling students in the autumn semester of 2021 and will offer 54 classes.

Located on the Tiantong Road, the new school will help improve the teaching quality in the zone's southwest area.

According to the agreement, USTC Basic Education Group will dispatch a group of management personnel to operate the new school and provide training opportunities for excellent teachers at the school.

The school's management, teaching, and evaluation system will be the same as the Middle School attached to USTC.

As a core area of the Hefei Comprehensive National Scientific Science Center, the zone is home to a number of high-quality enterprises and high-end talents, and the Middle School attached to USTC, established in Hefei in 1971, has cultivated many talents for social and economic development and has been widely recognized by students, parents and society as a whole.

Both sides will work together to build the school into a high-quality and influential school recognized by the city, the province and the country.
