8 Hefei medics return from Wuhan

An eight-member medical team sent by the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on Feb 15 to aid Hubei province was discharged from isolation and returned to the zone safely on April 1, following a 33-day work assignment.
The medics attended a welcome ceremony hosted by local officials and were reunited with their families. They were awarded with medals and bonuses at the ceremony.
Cao Xiaoji, vice director of the management committee of the zone, expressed his respect and gratitude to the medics for risking their lives to treat patients and thanked them for their contribution to the nation's fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.
In addition, a 10-member volunteer team sent by Yi Ke Ji, a hospital material management company in the zone, also returned to the zone safely and is being quarantined at a designated local hotel.
In an interview, the volunteers said their clothes were soaked with sweat at least three times every day. "The medical staff saw it through, so we should too," one of the volunteers said.
