Construction begins on JiaJiaMall Cross-border E-commerce Center

Construction began on the Anhui JiaJiaMall Cross-border E-commerce Center in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone on April 2.
The center will cover an area of 3,867 square meters and receive a total investment of 320 million yuan ($46.49 million), including 180 million yuan in fixed assets.
The project will integrate the high-quality resources of its operators Beijing OTO Fortune and JiaJiaMall and will focus on popular e-commerce products such as furniture and kitchenware.
The center will actively expand exports to the Middle East and EU, while maintaining exports to Southeast Asia,
Huang Wei, vice president of the Anhui Media Group to which JiaJiaMall belongs, said that with the support of the local government, the center will carry out extensive marketing and strive to develop itself into a demonstration project for the cross-border e-commerce industry in Hefei in the following 2 to 3 years.
Fang Xiangmin, deputy director of the management committee of the zone, said the center will promote innovative development of the local e-commerce industry and play an important role in boosting cross-border trade in the zone.
Fang said the zone's government will provide efficient services to help complete construction on the center.
