Hefei Bolin Advanced Materials Co Ltd in the Hefei National High-tech Industrial Development Zone donated disposable surgical masks and KN95 masks to its overseas business partners in Italy, Germany, Canada and the United States.

The company decided to make the donations to help the countries fight the COVID-19 epidemic after learning about their severe supply shortages.

The overseas enterprises responded to the donations with expressions of gratitude, saying the gesture is a sign of true partnership.

Italian company Walvoil said it is difficult to find masks in Italy as most are reserved for hospitals, doctors and people that work near at-risk areas.

"Luckily China was able to overcome the epidemic thanks to the combined efforts of the government and Chinese people."

Bolin also made donations to the worst-hit areas in China when COVID-19 was ravaging the country.
