Hefei International Talent City, a talent and incubation service center in the Hefei National High-tech Industrial Development Zone, received strong support during its epidemic prevention and control efforts.
Thanks to promotion by the municipal government, an online job fair held by the service center attracted more than 200 enterprises and 140,000 views within a week.
An online donation initiative launched by the service center also received an enthusiastic response from the international community.
Gao Yuan, deputy director of the Youth Committee of the Anhui European and American Students' Association, mobilized personnel in China and abroad to purchase medical supplies for frontline hospitals.
In light of the shortage of medical supplies in China, Peng Bin, head of the work station of the Hefei International Talent City in Dallas, the United States, encouraged a group of overseas Chinese to donate nearly 200 temperature-checking devices to the Anhui Overseas Chinese Federation.
Overseas returnees who have established companies in Hefei with the help of Hefei International Talent City also made contributions by donating money or providing medical products to frontline staff.
