Non-contact security and temperature detecting machines have been put into use at metro stations in Hefei as part of epidemic prevention and control efforts, according to Hefei Rail Transit Group.

The machines can complete both security inspection and temperature detection as passengers walk through the check-in area.

The machines will help improve work efficiency and avoid close contact between passengers and security staff.

Passengers are also advised to use QR codes to take subways.

Hefei Rail Transit Group plans to equip metro stations across Hefei with the machines for the safety of passengers.

The machines are produced by Brainware Terahertz Information Technology Co Ltd, which specializes in the R&D, manufacturing, sale and service of terahertz series body detectors for security inspection in Hefei National High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
