Hefei International Talent City welcomed its first anniversary on Oct 9 with an exhibition of achievements it has made through a year of development.

As a service center for international talent looking to live and work in Hefei city, the Hefei International Talent City has made great contribution to building an attractive city for high-caliber personnel, the local media reported.

Over the past year, it has brought in 17 third-party professional institutions to help innovation and entrepreneurship teams in developing projects and established cooperation relationship with well-known universities and enterprises.

Wang Jizhe, spokesperson for an industrial design innovation team at the 38th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation, said: "Hefei International Talent City impressed me with its high efficiency and quality services in dealing with talents' needs. It helped our institute to classify and identify high-caliber personnel."

Hu Shaoshan, secretary general of the Anhui Alumni Association, gave a thumb's up to the exchange activities organized by Hefei International Talent City.

"The activities are definitely worth participating in as they provided opportunities to communicate ideas and expand cooperation, by gathering experts and talent in different fields and industries."
