As the representative of Anhui's AI industry, China Speech Valley, a recent nominee to become an advanced manufacturing base, attended the 2019 World Manufacturing Convention in Hefei, capital of East China's Anhui province, from Sept 20-23.

Covering 1,000 square meters, China Speech Valley exhibition displayed innovative technologies and products from more than 40 enterprises located within the industrial park, which attracted 30,000 visits during the convention, according to local government.

Located in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone, China Speech Valley is the first national industrial park to focus on intelligent speech and AI. It is now home to over 600 enterprises and has incubated more than 130 AI products in the fields of education, healthcare and smart home.

Its exhibits, including iFlyteck translation machines and TABO robots, showcased the province's strength in smart technologies such as voice recognition and robotics.

Event organizers unveiled a list of the top 50 innovative products and top 50 enterprises at the convention. Products from China Speech Valley accounted for nearly half of the selected products, and enterprises in China Speech Valley accounted for nearly half of the selected enterprises.

As a part of the convention, a high-end forum on the future of AI industry was held on Sept 21 by China Speech Valley, with related experts and enterprises exchanging views on how to better integrate AI technology into the development of various industries.
