The world's first quantum computing app, ChemiQ, was recently launched by Origin Quantum Computing Technology Co, a milestone for the application of quantum computing technology.

According to the introduction on the company's website, ChemiQ is a chemical application system that runs quantum programs, which are mainly used to simulate the energy of chemical molecules at different bond lengths, and can view and analyze existing calculation results.

In order to manage the results of calculations, there is a concept of "project" in the application. A project has multiple "calculation results" and each one corresponds to its own parameter configuration.

The app features a graphic display of the molecular model, configurable parameters and node coordinates, readable and editable interface data, and storage of the quantum program's calculation results.

Origin Quantum was established in Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in 2017. It is one of the high-tech enterprises engaged in the industrialization of quantum information technology and the first start-up company engaged in the quantum computing industry in China.
