A signing ceremony was held at Hefei National High-Tech Industry Development Zone on Aug 24, with 25 major commercial projects worth 20.2 billion yuan ($2.8 billion) being signed into effect.
Most of the projects aim to boost production and revenue for key enterprises, said Fang Xiangmin, deputy director of the zone.

Shanghai Guoru Group will invest more into R&D and production of high-end electronic new materials.
After the signing ceremony, officials of the zone introduced upgraded polices to enterprises representatives, including those designed to develop manufacturing and high-tech service industries and promote innovation and entrepreneurship for high-caliber personnel.
By the end of July, electric information and photovoltaic industries in the zone had realized double-digit growth, and the zone's import and export growth rate was 12.7 percent higher than the national average.
