Hefei is among China's top 15 cities for new graduates to work in, according to the latest observation report issued by a recruitment platform Boss Zhipin.

Among the 15 cities, Hefei is the only one which is not considered to be a first-tier city, showcasing its competiveness in attracting talents.

Hefei is attractive due to its favorable policies and quality services and measures encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship.

To attract more global professionals, local government regularly releases lists of urgently needed personnel in strategic emerging industries and encourages third party institutions to help with employment needs.

When it comes to housing, the city has rolled out a series of policies, including adding talent apartments and providing a rent allowance.
