The achievements of China Speech Valley were recorded through words, pictures and videos as some 10 we-media insiders from across China recently visited the country's only national-level artificial intelligence (AI) technology hub.
The latest AI products, including a piano with a built-in error-correction function, a robot able to accompany and attend to children, and a cursor mouse capable of recognizing voice commands, deeply impressed the visitors.
They then produced reports that have so far reached over 333,000 online users.
Owing to strong support from both the central and provincial governments, the valley has extended from intelligent speech technology to other AI-related fields. It is expected to become a global AI center, attracting more companies and talents in the industries of brain-inspired, quantum, big data, internet plus and AI technology.
