Ten months of construction, careful testing and inspection have secured Magneti Marelli's manufacturing base in Hefei city, East China's Anhui province, a smooth opening. 

Featuring the first domestic product line by the company to manufacture core parts of the automobile power system, the base was customized by the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone to meet the needs of the Italian automotive systems and components supplier. 

The flagship of Magneti Marelli's four manufacturing bases in China, the Hefei branch boasts the quickest construction and the highest quality standards. 

It took only four months to manage the preparatory work and five months to install equipment along the production line. The last seven months have seen the base being placed into initial operation. 

Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone's working efficiency won much appreciation from the Italian manufacturer, which supplies all the leading car makers in Europe, North and South America, and Asia.
