At the Smart City Expo World Congress (SCEWC) 2018 in Barcelona, Spain from Nov 13 to 15, Guochuang, a Chinese software company, presented solutions and projects that will make the lives of people in cities better and healthier.
Located at the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone in East China's Anhui province, Guochuang was founded by an alumnus from the University of Science and Technology of China, one of the most prestigious domestic higher learning institutions.
Focusing on software product research and development, Guochuang has developed into a leading industry application software and big data application service provider over the last 16 years.
As a Chinese provider of smart city solutions, the company was invited by SCEWC organizers, to attend the expo, where its proposal of a brand new system, which integrates cutting-edge technologies including big data, internet of things, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, impressed attendees from such countries as Spain, Finland, Russia, Indonesia, South Korea, the United States, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

Since its inception in 2011, SCEWC has been a can't-miss event combining the latest solutions and technologies, and inspiring keynotes on improving city lives.
In 2018, the event reflected on what makes a city livable, why gentrification changes the whole social character of a neighborhood, and how sharing can help cities become more sustainable, resilient, inclusive, and smarter with a focus on people.
Five main topics offered dynamic approaches to the key issues facing cities, including Digital Transformation, Urban Environment, Mobility, Governance and Finance, and Inclusive and Sharing Cities. An extended exhibition area also showcased real solutions to improve smart city life at the expo.
