Internet of things (IoT) is redefining the network of physical objects.

By implementing electronics, software, sensors, and network connectivity into vehicles, buildings and various other devices, they are able to exchange data with each other.

To encourage the exchange and examination of cutting edge IoT technology, the Hefei National High-tech Industry Development Zone will hold the 2018 Global IoT Innovation Summit in Hefei, Anhui province, on Nov 28.

The summit will invite a number of visionaries to share their thoughts on the IoT industry, including business leaders, experts and scholars from the Chinese Academy of Engineering and Aliyun, Alibaba's subsidiary which specializes in cloud computing and AI.

ARM Accelerator, the first innovation platform in the world to focus on smart hardware and IoT ecosystem, will be a helping hand for the opening of the summit.
