Jonten Certified Public Accountants was founded in 1994 and finished its transformation into a limited liability partnership in 2013. Headquartered in Beijing, Jonten has branches in many provinces and regions, such as Liaoning, Tianjin, Sichuan, Yunnan, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Anhui and Hong Kong. Jonten now has 2,000 employees, with an average age of 31, including over 500 certified public accountants, over 100 certified public valuers, more than 80 certified tax agents, 100 registered cost engineers, 20 staff with international qualifications, and 11 national and provincial leading talents. Ninety percent of employees hold bachelor’s degrees while more than half have over 5 years’ experience in auditing. Moreover, 10 percent of its people have experience of training or working overseas.

Its services include IPO service (offering an auditing service to companies that will issue shares and go public on the Chinese mainland), statutory audit (auditing of annual financial statements, economic responsibility, IPO, purchase, liquidation and transfer), and special audit (verification of invested capital, company’s internal audit, auditing of net assets, due diligence, expert testimony and government procurement).

The firm engages in examining accounting reports for enterprises and issuing audit reports, verifying capital of enterprises and issuing capital verification reports, and auditing funding of science and technology program, identifications of high-tech enterprises, declarations of software enterprises and software products and of government projects, enterprise mergers, divisions and liquidations; annual financial statements; tax-related appraisals, deductions of research and development expenses, final income tax statements, and bookkeeping agencies, as well as providing accounting consultation, tax consultation, management consultation, accounting training and other businesses meeting all legal requirements. 

The firm is a special acceptance and audit accounting firm that receives financial support from the Ministry of Science and Technology and provides services for government departments. The firm has 31 employees, 14 of them Chinese certified public accountants and 11 Chinese certificated tax accountants. Annually, it issues 1,000 audit reports and provides services for more than 800 clients.
