Hefei Private Scientific and Technological Innovation Service Center is a non-profit sci-tech business incubator sponsored by Hefei Science and Technology Bureau and operated by Hefei Private Scientific and Technological Enterprise Park Management Service Center, covering a floorage of 20,400 square meters. It was officially put into operation in November 2002.

It insists on the principle of “improving its business environment and developing major industries”, and offers various services to private sci-tech start-ups, such as tutoring and consultation on entrepreneurship, support in premises and shared facilities, as well as service on policies, laws, finance, investment and funding, enterprise management and human resources.

It aims to reduce risks and cost for entrepreneurship, improve the enterprises’ survival rate and growth and develop successful sci-tech firms and entrepreneurs. 

With more than 10 years of efforts and development, the center was supported and recognized by the Ministry of Science of the People’s Republic of China and relevant provincial and municipal authorities.

It has been identified as National Advanced Science and Technology Industrial Park, the China Private Science and Technology Promotion Award, Advanced Management Unit of High-Tech Industries and First Batch of Entrepreneurship Bases of Anhui province, as well as Outstanding Sci-tech Firm Incubator of Anhui province and Hefei.

On Dec 8, 2006, the center was identified as a state-level high-tech entrepreneurship service center by the Ministry of Science and Technology. It has successfully incubated 324 enterprises and 145 companies. They were all incubated with high efficiency and success rate and rapid development, playing a leading role in promoting private sci-tech firms clusters.
