Junshan New City in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ) is emerging as a dynamic and modern urban center, driven by industrial growth, infrastructure development, and urban functionality.

It exemplifies the harmonious integration of industry, innovation, and culture, serving as a new benchmark for urban development.

Junshan has witnessed remarkable industrial development over the past five years, with its industrial output surging from 980 million yuan ($140 million) to 59 billion yuan, an impressive annual growth rate exceeding 170 percent.

Key industries in Junshan, including new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles, have attracted significant investment from enterprises. The area also serves as a gateway for global enterprises, hosting major facilities for notable companies like Cummins and Aptiv.

Junshan is also a thriving innovation hub, with institutions such as Huazhong University of Science and Technology and Wuhan University of Technology having established campuses there, enriching its academic landscape and fueling innovation.

The area is setting national standards in smart transportation, with autonomous shuttle buses integrated into daily commutes.

Junshan, embracing its history, boasts attractions such as Zhuge Ancient Town, which draws thousands of visitors annually and enhances the area's cultural tapestry.
