The Zhenxiang Intelligent Medical Exhibition Center, located in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ), opened on Jan 6. It showcases cutting-edge applications of AI technology in the medical and health sectors.
The center highlights new scenarios and uses for artificial intelligence, such as precise delineation of lesions on CT images with color-coded boxes and matching treatment plans, as well as intricate 3D simulations of surgical procedures, all under the precise guidance of AI systems.
The center features state-of-the-art AI technologies developed by Infervision Medical. These include an AI surgical system, an AI screening and diagnostic system, and an AI surgical robot, all of which demonstrate AI's futuristic application in medical diagnostics and treatment.
Instead of rows of seats, a Zhenxiang AI mobile medical vehicle outside the exhibition hall is equipped with CT scanners, X-ray machines, and other diagnostic equipment.
"This mobile medical vehicle is like a 'Transformer', customizable with different medical modules based on client needs," explained Chen Kuan, founder and chairman of Infervision Medical. The vehicle is versatile and applicable in health check-ups, screenings, and emergency medical care scenarios. It could evolve into a mobile hospital where doctors can diagnose, prescribe, and even perform minimally invasive surgeries onboard.
The health industry is one of the five emerging sectors in the zone's modern industrial system. The zone currently houses over 130 health enterprises, including Wuhan Hiteck Biopharmaceutical Co and Wuhan Tongji Modern Pharmaceutical Technology Co, which form a comprehensive health industry ecosystem encompassing R&D, incubation, production, and logistics.
