On April 23, 2024, the 2024 Sino-International Entrepreneurs Auto Valley Forum was held in the Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ).

The forum, organized by the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF), was dedicated to fostering international cooperation and pioneering advancements within the automotive industry. It aimed to promote extensive collaboration between China and France across domains such as automotive technology innovation, intelligent driving systems, and the integration of new energy vehicles (NEVs), thereby bolstering the high-quality development of the global automotive industry.

The event brought together Long Yongtu, chairman of SIEF, Jean-Yves ROUX, French consul general in Wuhan, and Luc Chatel, chairman of La Plateforme Automobile (PFA), alongside a cohort comprising nearly 100 delegates from French automotive industry regulatory bodies, major European automotive agencies, and senior executives from Fortune Global 500 automotive finance and insurance companies. Additionally, leaders from Fortune Global 500 companies and investment institutions were also in attendance.

The Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation is one of the globally influential international non-profit organizations, serving as a link between Chinese and foreign businesses and a bridge for communication. WEDZ has hosted the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Auto Valley Forum for two consecutive years.

In his address, Liu Ziqing, secretary of WEDZ's working committee, articulated that the exchange of insights among industry elites and experts would effectively catalyze further synergies between Chinese and French automotive enterprises. Such collaborations are poised to fortify the automotive industrial and innovation ecosystem and accelerate the pace of transformation within the automotive sector.
