Investment Promotion Service Center in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WEDZ or Hannan)

Main responsibilities and business scope:

(1) Implement the development strategies, laws, regulations, rules and policies of the State, province, city and WEDZ with regards to attracting investment.

(2) Organize the implementation of the annual investment promotion plan issued by the city and WEDZ, and complete the performance targets and work tasks of investment promotion. Entrusted by the WEDZ bureau of commerce, coordinate the performance of the zone’s investment promotion.

(3) Undertake investment promotion for projects such as advanced manufacturing, high-end equipment, modern services and emerging industries.

(4) Undertake foreign investment promotion work. Plan and organize various investment promotion activities at home and abroad, be responsible for the translation of foreign investment activities, and produce and publish investment promotion materials.

(5) Undertake project information mining work. Further develop information channels, and have effective investment ambassadors, intermediaries, and expert databases.

(6) Deepen research into the industrial chain. Plan to establish and improve the target enterprise database for investment promotion, and promote investment in the precision industry chain.

(7) Complete other tasks as assigned by superiors.
