The newborn ward at Wuhan Asia General Hospital, located in Wuhan Economic & Technological Development Zone (WHDZ), went into operation on Aug 18, marking new progress in the hospital’s neonatology department, according to local media reports.
The newborn ward is on the hospital’s 11th floor.
The ward is composed of a standard neonatal room, neonatal intensive care unit, newborn isolation care room, milk preparation room, bathing area and treatment room. It is equipped with advanced medical equipment such as infant incubators, radiant infant warmers, infant respirators, non-invasive ventilators and monitors.
Medical staff members working in the ward have rich clinical experience and will provide attentive, considerate and thoughtful service for babies.
