Vietnam-China Economy and Trade Exchange Conference held in Ho Chi Minh

On Nov 26, the Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh)-China (Guiyang) Economy and Trade Exchange Conference was held in Ho Chi Minh.

At the conference, a signing ceremony for foreign-related projects was held, with agreements for a total of seven projects signed, covering areas such as trade and tourism. The event also featured exhibition areas for Guizhou's products and the comprehensive image of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The Guizhou product exhibition area was divided into three sections for industry, creative products of intangible cultural heritage items, and specialty ecological food, showcasing over 100 items in 46 categories. The image exhibition area displayed the charm of Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area from seven perspectives, including city, industry, parks, channels, culture and tourism, exchange activities, and ecology.

Guiyang was listed as a hotspot for investment in China three times in a row, and has become a thriving hub of development and a beacon of openness in western China.

Vietnam is an important trade partner and investment destination for Guiyang in ASEAN. Regarding this event as an opportunity, Guiyang will leverage the Belt and Road Initiative and the advantages of the RCEP mechanism to expand high-level opening-up and explore new spaces for exchanges and cooperation with ASEAN countries, striving for deeper exchanges and win-win development.
