During the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE), held in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10, the delegation of Southwest China's Guizhou province signed 11 import procurement projects with a total trade volume of $29.24 million.
A total of 880 exhibitors from Guizhou attended the expo to seek cooperation opportunities, including 14 key buyers, such as Guizhou Provincial People's Hospital, Affiliated Hospital of Guizhou Medical University, and Panzhou City Second People's Hospital.
Among the projects signed by Guizhou, two provincial projects had a trade volume of $8.8 million; four projects from Qiannan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture had a trade volume of $9.72 million; one project from Bijie city had a trade volume of $3.5 million; and four projects from Liupanshui city had a trade volume of $7.21 million.
All 11 projects were related to medical equipment.
Six time-honored enterprises from Guizhou also attended the 7th CIIE, showcasing the charm of the province's brands and intangible cultural heritage products.
