The 2024 China Guizhou International Energy Industry Expo was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, from June 20 to 22.
The expo attracted representatives from 13 Fortune Global 500 energy companies, 18 of China's top 500 energy companies, and 46 of China's top 50 coal machinery enterprises, as well as coal energy industry associations, energy industry entrepreneurs, and energy sector experts from 27 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities.
They discussed the development trends and cutting-edge technologies in smart mining and the energy industry, and promoted global technological innovation and cooperation to boost high-quality development in the energy industry.
The three-day expo showcased various new technologies, achievements, and cooperation results, highlighting the high-quality development in Guizhou's energy industry.
According to the expo's organizing committee, during the expo, 271 equipment purchase orders and 56 technology cooperation projects were signed into effect, with a total contract amount of 25.13 billion yuan ($3.46 million).
More than 2,000 companies from the coal, electricity, new energy, and equipment manufacturing industries exhibited over 3,000 products across eight exhibition areas.
They displayed coal mining equipment and solutions, as well as technologies and solutions across the entire industrial chain of wind energy, solar energy, hydrogen energy, energy storage, and electric vehicles.
They also showcased smart solutions and services for digital mining, 5G energy application scenarios, coalbed methane exploration and development, and large-scale and fixed-site equipment for coal mines, to name a few.
