According to the agreement, the company plans to establish a 30,000 mu (2,000 hectares) high-quality chili planting base in Louang Namtha in 2024. This will provide jobs to more than 2,000 local families.
In 2024, the company is expected to purchase 15,000 metric tons of high-quality chili, achieving an import value of over 80 million yuan ($11 million). With the support of the China-Laos Railway, bonded stations, and cold chain logistics, this agreement will benefit the people and local economic development of both countries.
