2023 Colorful Guizhou Cultural and Art Festival to take place

According to a news conference held on July 17, the 2023 Colorful Guizhou Cultural and Art Festival will kick off in August.

In addition to the opening and closing ceremonies and performances by people from both within and outside the province, there will be 14 main events, including an art competition, a singing competition, and a creation activity for nationally famous artists.

There are also 15 sub-activities, including the Guiyang Strawberry Music Festival, Hailong Tun International Visual Culture Week, and a calligraphy and seal cutting biennial exhibition.

The events have been going on since April of this year and will continue until November.

The closing ceremony, which will take place in November, will include the final of the singing competition and the presentation of awards to winning works, revealing the results of the 2023 Colorful Guizhou Cultural and Art Festival.

The festival aims to become a cultural and artistic celebration and a festival for the masses.

It will invite famous artists to showcase Guizhou and promote it through cultural and artistic forms.

Through exhibitions, performances, competitions, and more, the festival will produce outstanding literary and artistic works, discover literary and artistic talent, build a platform for the integrated development of culture and tourism, cultivate the Guizhou cultural market, and expand the influence of Guizhou's culture.
