The 2022 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week will be held in Guian New Area, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 22-28.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the event, which is a key platform for cultural exchanges between China and ASEAN governments.
This year, the event will include 37 activities during the week and 57 activities throughout the year. The activities will focus on cooperation in sustainable education, educational exchanges and cooperation in the post-pandemic era, innovation and entrepreneurship among teenagers, and cross-cultural exchanges among teenagers.
The event will also organize forums involving education cooperation and talent exchanges between China and ASEAN.
This year, about 2,400 guests from China, ASEAN countries, and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative will attend the event both online and offline.
The event is expected to enhance the meeting mechanism of senior officials from education departments in China and ASEAN, and share the experience and achievements of higher education, vocational education and elementary education.
It will also help establish the China-ASEAN Vocational Education Association and continue to implement the "Zhi & Xing Guizhou" Silk Road Youth Exchange Program to promote Guizhou among international students.
