Southwest China's Guizhou province will hold the annual two sessions of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Guizhou Committee and Guizhou Provincial People's Congress on Jan 19 and 20, respectively.
The fifth plenary of the 13th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress will be attended by 596 deputies and 1,200 attendances without voting rights. The plenary will last for five days and close on Jan 24.
The deputies will listen to and review the work report of the Guizhou Provincial Government; review and approve Guizhou's executive condition for the 2021 national economic and social development plan and report on Guizhou's 2022 national economic and social development draft plan; and approve Guizhou's 2022 national economic and social development plan.
The deputies will also review and approve Guizhou's 2021 budget performance and report on its 2022 drafted budget; approve Guizhou's 2022 budget; listen to and review the work reports of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress, the Guizhou Provincial Higher People's Court, and the Guizhou Provincial People's Procuratorate; and hold an election.
The fifth plenary of the 12th CPPCC Guizhou Committee will be attended by 598 members and 222 attendances without voting rights. It will last for five days and close on Jan 23.
CPPCC members will listen to and review the work reports of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Guizhou Committee and reports on proposals submitted since the fourth plenary of the 12th CPPCC Guizhou Committee.
CPPCC members will also attend the fifth plenary of the 13th Guizhou Provincial People's Congress to listen and discuss the government work report and other reports; carry a by-election of members of the Standing Committee of the CPPCC Guizhou Committee; and review and approve the resolution of the fifth plenary of the 12th CPPCC Guizhou Committee and the review report of proposals submitted at the fifth plenary of the 12th CPPCC Guizhou Committee.
