Guizhou's industrial output value to reach 1.57t yuan

According to the Guizhou Industry and Information Technology Department, the total industrial output value of Southwest China's Guizhou province is estimated to have reached 1.57 trillion yuan ($246.47 billion) in 2021.

The added value of Guizhou's industries above a designated size increased by 12 percent year-on-year, ranking among the top in China and accounting for 27 percent of Guizhou's GDP.

This year, the added value of Guizhou's manufacturing industry is expected to account for 20 percent of GDP, and the output value of strategic emerging industries will account for 12 percent of the output value of industries above a designated size.

The growth rate of Guizhou's digital economy has ranked first in the nation for six consecutive years.

In 2021, Guizhou developed one national public service platform for industrial technology, one demonstration company for technological innovation, 36 companies, five entrepreneurship and innovation bases for micro and small-sized companies, 29 provincial company technology centers, and 14 industry design centers.

The total profit of industrial companies above a designated size in Guizhou is estimated to increase by 30 percent year-on-year, while the profit margin of business revenue is expected to increase by more than 11 percent, and industrial tax income is expected to account for 36 percent of Guizhou's total tax income this year.
