The Guiyang employment and vocational skills development center has been working to stabilize employment among people recently alleviated from poverty and residents of poverty alleviation relocation areas since the beginning of this year.
By adopting measures such as employment assistance and vocational training, the center hopes to help more people secure employment.
From January to August, 32,300 rural laborers were employed. A total of 21,699 people in Guiyang and Guian New Area have now employed or own businesses.
There are 2,797 households with 5,643 people of working age in poverty alleviation relocation families in Guiyang, of which 5,310 people have been employed.
The city has also identified 30 employment assistance workshops employing 1,546 people.
Moving forward, the Guiyang employment and vocational skills development center will further increase the collection of job information and focus on providing employment recommendation services.
