International Mountain Tourism Conference to be held in Guizhou

The 2021 International Mountain Tourism Conference (IMTC) and the 16th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference will be held in Tongren, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Sept 26-28.

About 700 government officials, international tourism and sports organizations, culture and tourism enterprises, travel agencies, financial institutions, and experts will be invited to attend the conference.

This year's IMTC will include an opening ceremony, tourism promotion and business attraction events, a cultural product exhibition, the Fanjing Mountain International Marathon, the Tour of Fanjing Mountain, and other outdoor sports conferences.

The Tour of Fanjing Mountain will be held on Oct 30-31 with 800 athletes, and the Fanjing Mountain International Marathon will be held both online and offline with 8,000 participants in total. The online marathon will be held on Sept 22-28, and the offline marathon will be held in late November.

The IMTC will strictly follow pandemic prevention and control requirements to ensure the safety of participants.
