Guizhou athletes win 10 medals at Tokyo 2020 Paralympics

As Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games raced to its conclusion on Sept 5, athletes from Southwest China's Guizhou province won three gold medals, three silver medals and four bronze medals.

It was the most medals won by Guizhou athletes in the Paralympic Games history.

The gold medals were scooped up in the S11 women's 100-meter backstroke won by Cai Liwen, who also smashed a world record; the SU5 badminton women's singles won by Yang Qiuxia; and in the SL4 badminton women's singles won by Cheng Hefang.

The silver medals were won in the S11 women's 200-meter medley stroke won by Cai Liwen; the S6 women's 100-meter breaststroke won by Liu Daomin; and in the SL4 badminton women's doubles won by Cheng Hefang.

The bronze medals were won in the S11 women's 400-meter freestyle and the women's 100-meter freestyle won by Cai Liwen; and in the S8 men's 100-meter breaststroke and men's 200-meter medley stroke won by Yang Guanglong.
