During the ongoing third China International Import Expo in Shanghai, which runs to Nov 10, Guiyang city and nearby Guian New Area -- in Southwest China's Guizhou province -- will launch joint activities to showcase their achievements in trade and opening-up.
The two will join forces to promote their strong business environment and open economies. Meanwhile, Guiyang has negotiated with exhibitors in advance and has already sealed 19 investment projects, involving manufacturing, big data, agricultural product processing and trade services.
At Guizhou's trade exchange activities, Guiyang and Guian will focus on marketing their successes in building vibrant international industrial parks, expanding their middle and high-end manufacturing, as well as their middle to high-end retail sectors.
Key guests such as Robert Herzner, director of Germany Trade & Invest's Shanghai office; Tanaka Kazushige, head of the Japan External Trade Organization's Chengdu office and Zhang Xinyi, chief representative of Euro-Sino Enterprises Association's Beijing office -- and representatives of major international corporations -- will attend the trade exchange events and promotions.
