Batik experiencing draws visitors to Dong village

"It was definitely a joyful experience for my family to take a close look at traditional Dong handcrafts such as spinning and wax-dyeing. It has also expanded my child's knowledge on Dong ethnic group", said Ms Zhang, a tourist from Shanghai.

Dongpingyuan Batik Workshop has become one of the top travel hubs in Liping and was highly recommended in the 13th Tourism Development Conference for broadcasting Dong traditional culture and creating more job opportunities for local ethnic groups.
