Cross-Straits talents attend job fair in Quanzhou
An autumn campus job fair is held in Huaqiao University in Quanzhou, Fujian province, in November, with the aim of attracting talents from both sides of the Taiwan Straits, especially students about to graduate from Taiwan.
A total of 55 companies participated in the job fair, among which 24 well-known enterprises are seeking to recruit students from Taiwan. About 470 positions, including designers, engineers and research and development specialists, are available to these students.
The job fair also sets up a policy service area to provide Taiwan students with training, employment, entrepreneurship and other policy consulting services. The annual salaries that these enterprises offer are above 60,000 yuan ($8,568), with some positions annual salary exceeds 120,000 yuan.
As the city is launching job fair activities for university graduates from Taiwan for the first time, the specific measures also provide "first homeland" provisions for them.
In recent years, with the issuing of a series of policies supporting Taiwan students, more and more Taiwan youths have decided to settle in Quanzhou and pursue their dreams of success in this city of opportunity.
