The initial operating safety assessment of Metro Line 11's Phase II eastern section and Phase III Wuchang section first segment was completed on Dec 21, signaling readiness for the initial launch of these two lines.

Nineteen technical experts conducted a comprehensive review of the basic conditions for the initial operation of the two sections from Dec 18 to 21. The experts thoroughly examined the construction progress and trial operation preparations through reports, site inspections, document reviews, and discussions.

The expert panel concluded that the safety assessment preparations for the initial operation of the two sections were well-prepared and received high overall praise. System integration testing has been completed, and trains, power supply, signaling, and electromechanical equipment have met national standards, demonstrating the technical capabilities and professional standards required for normal operation.

Metro Line 11's Phase II eastern section spans 12.5 kilometers with seven stations: East Square of Wuchang Railway Station, Dingziqiao, Mafangshan, Huquan, Wuhan Sports University, Optics Valley Square, and Guanshan Boulevard. The Phase III Wuchang section's first segment covers 4 km with two stations: Ziyanghu and Jiang'an Road.
