OVC launches talent station in the UK
The Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC) recently launched its talent station in the United Kingdom (UK) while conducting promotion and exchanges in the UK and France.
The station, located in London, was established through cooperation between OVC and UK-CAIT, a non-profit organization in the UK that builds a platform for exchange and cooperation between Chinese and British talents. This is OVC's second overseas station, the other being in Singapore.

On Oct 19, OVC held a recruitment fair for students and scholars at its UK station. A total of 98 companies and institutions, including Hubei Laboratory, Huagong Technology Industry Co, and Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Co, offered over 560 high-end positions. Nearly 100 positions offered annual salaries exceeding 500,000 yuan ($70,186.53).
The fair attracted over 100 young Chinese talents, including students from Imperial College London, King's College London, University of Oxford, and people from local enterprises and institutions.

Since establishing the first overseas station in Singapore in July last year, overseas stations have become OVC's crucial talent attraction points. They connect with overseas academic institutions, serve overseas Chinese, and conduct various talent exchange and recruitment activities.
OVC has also established two other stations in Shanghai and Shenzhen, gradually building a global talent attraction matrix extending from China to Europe and Southeast Asia. The next step is to expand efforts to attract talents globally and accelerate the development of a world OVC.
