Located in Optics Valley Central City, the AI industrial park covers a total construction area of 101,800 square meters and features facilities such as an intelligent R&D innovation center, an exhibition area, a headquarters office zone, a public service area, an enterprise incubation zone, and an industry clustering area. It focuses on the AI sector, including cloud computing, big data, machine learning, and intelligent manufacturing.
The AI industrial park project has completed engineering quality acceptance and is set for final delivery. Institutions like Wuhan Optics Valley Digital Industry Group Co, GDU-Tech Co, and OVC's smart city operation center have shown interest in the initial settlement.

According to the "2024 Hubei Province AI Enterprise Ecological Map" released at the conference, OVC has 74.07 percent of Hubei's evaluated and approved AI enterprises, which cover various categories such as basic resources, technology, and product application services.
As Wuhan's national AI innovation and application pilot zone, OVC reached a 35-billion-yuan ($4.91 billion) AI industry scale in 2023, creating benchmark AI applications in intelligent manufacturing, autonomous driving, smart healthcare, digital creativity, and intelligent construction.
OVC will employ AI as a key engine for developing new quality productive forces. It will lead in technology innovation, industry aggregation, and integrated applications and aims to cultivate a self-sufficient AI industry ecosystem, establishing itself as a beacon for AI development and aggregation.
