The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently announced its latest list of single-product champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry. Four companies in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC), including Wuhan Dameng Database Co and Wuhan Grand Hoyo Co, were selected. Up to now, OVC has accumulated 18 firms that have won this title.

Single-product champion enterprises in the manufacturing industry refer to companies that lead in specific segments of the manufacturing industry. These enterprises must also possess internationally leading production technologies or processes, and hold a dominant market share.

Dameng is a pioneer in the database technology sector. It focuses on the research, development, and sales of products and services in its field. Currently, the company's products are widely used in dozens of industries, such as finance, energy, aviation, and communication.

Grand Hoyo has been deeply involved in the amino acid segment of the manufacturing industry for over 40 years. It leads in the domestic implementation of amino acid synthesis industrialization. The company also holds the most comprehensive domestic and foreign product registration and certification permits.
