On March 11, the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as the Optics Valley of China, or OVC) signed an agreement with Deloitte China to settle its Wuhan branch in Optics Valley Central City.

Deloitte is one of the world's most influential and commercially valuable business service brands, established 179 years ago in London, the United Kingdom. With a network spanning 150 countries and regions, the company boasts a professional services team that is approximately 345,000 people strong. They offer services such as auditing, taxation, and consultations.

Deloitte has a history of over 100 years in China, having established its first office in Shanghai in 1917. It currently operates offices in major cities all across China, employing over 22,000 local professionals.

Lu Ying, a member of Deloitte China's management committee, stated that the company has maintained a close cooperative relationship with Wuhan and the OVC for a long time.

The Wuhan branch will leverage the company's global network in order to build an international platform for OVC enterprises, connecting them with international resources, and providing specialized services to support the development of technology-oriented enterprises, thus nurturing new productive forces.

In recent years, Deloitte China and the valley have jointly organized the Top 20 High-tech Enterprise and Optics Valley Future Star selection activities for 10 consecutive years, selecting a total of 144 Top 20 enterprises and 52 Future Stars enterprises.
