The C-block sub-venue of the Optics Valley International New Culture E-sports Center project has been successfully capped in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as the Optics Valley of China, or OVC).
This project is the largest and most professional B-level multi-functional e-sports venue in Central China. In the future, it will serve as the main venue for various international and domestic professional e-sports events.
The project is being constructed by Wuhan Cultural Investment Development Group and is located in the core area of Optics Valley Central City. It is planned to include e-sports spaces, commercial offices, and supporting talent communities. This project aims to become a new landmark for the e-sports sports industry as well as an international immersive consumption destination for e-sports culture.
Wuhan has the seventh largest concentration of e-sports players in China, and it is home to more than 40 related enterprises. The word "e-sports" was mentioned 11 times in the 14th Five-Year Development Plan for Wuhan's Cultural Industry.
