On Dec 18, the Tianma Microelectronics Professional Display Roadshow 2023 was held in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC).

The event invited over 200 guests from various sectors, including the government, industry, and media.

This is the eighth edition of Tianma's industrial roadshow since its inception in 2014. It showcased nearly a hundred specialty displays, including transparent screens, flicker-free screens, ultra-low blue light eye-care screens, screens that remain visible during power outages, hidden screens, and foldable screens.

These displays can be used in the fields of industrial control, medicine and healthcare, smart homes, intelligent retail, and smart offices, leaving the guests amazed. Many of these products are manufactured by Tianma in Wuhan.

Tianma was the first Chinese company to enter the panel display field. Its professional display Division was established in 2012 and has since undergone considerable transformation and growth over the past decade. In 2022, Tianma's professional display products became the global market leader in terms of shipments.

Cui Peng, vice president of Tianma Microelectronics, said the company has centralized its professional display business, previously distributed across different regions in China, in Wuhan.

From hard screens to flexible screens, Tianma has continuously increased its investment in Wuhan, with a total investment now exceeding 30 billion yuan ($4.18 billion).

In the first half of this year alone, the delivery volume of flexible smartphone screens from Tianma's G6 production line in Wuhan increased by over 400 percent compared to the same period last year, setting multiple records.

The G6 factory has achieved full coverage of key equipment automation and a 100-percent networked numerical control rate, making it a municipal demonstration intelligent factory. Its brand customers include Honor, Xiaomi, OPPO, and VIVO.
