COVID-19 has ruined many people's holiday plans, as tourist spots and shopping malls are crowded with people, giving rise to higher risk of infection. However, air sports provide a viable alternative to typical activities.

There is a high-altitude sports base owned by Vexilary Leading Aviation Sports Co located in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC) that offers fire balloons and paragliders to bring tourists into the sky and away from the maddening crowds. The sports base is spacious and offers all sorts of air-based recreation.
