The Hubei Youth Pioneer Park – an innovation and entrepreneurship space that provides services such as business incubation, policy consultation, internship opportunities, technology transfers, exchanges and exhibitions – was officially unveiled on Feb 15 in the Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC).
The park occupies a construction area of 19,700 square meters, including 16,000 sq m for business incubation, and is currently home to 32 enterprises.
Officials from Hubei and Wuhan governments were present at the unveiling ceremony of the park, urging the staff members in charge of it to adopt the operational model by following the first-class standards from home and abroad and creating innovative concepts and mechanisms.
The park will adopt a market-oriented service mechanism, establish a full-life-cycle business incubation system, and offer comprehensive support to emerging enterprises in technological innovation, marketing, talent recruitment, resource coordination, and financing.
