The 2021 China 5G+Industrial Internet Conference was unveiled at East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC) on Nov 19.

Nine sub-forums and several research meetings on typical 5G+industrial internet scenarios were held during the first day of the three-day event, centering on digital connectivity, Internet Protocol version 6+ (IPV6+), safe 5G industrial production, digitalization, industry-finance cooperation, digital healthcare, data security, 5G medicine manufacturing, 5G Beidou Navigation Satellite System, and industry-education integration.

In addition, representatives from the government, research institutes, enterprises, and universities were went on a research trip to study typical 5G+industrial internet scenarios of Yangtze Optical Fibre & Cable Joint Stock Limited Company, Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Company and other local firms and institutions.

On Nov 20, the opening ceremony and two main forums will be held, featuring addresses by heavyweights from business and academic communities. The Ministry of Investment and Information Technology will also announce the latest achievements in 5G+industrial internet that same day.
