OVC intl optoelectronic expo to open on Oct 27

The 18th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum is scheduled to open on Oct 27 at the China Optics Valley Convention and Exhibition Center in the East Lake High-tech Development Zone (also known as Optics Valley of China, or OVC).
As one of China's most influential and professional expositions, the optoelectronics expo will have three themed exposition areas – optical communication and the fifth generation fixed networks (F5G), laser and intelligent manufacturing, and optics and precision optics.
Occupying a total exposition area of 20,000 square meters, the expo has carefully chosen more than 200 domestic and overseas corporate participants, which will showcase their new products, technologies, and innovative achievements to visitors throughout the world. It is estimated that the professional audience number of the expo will exceed 20,000.
Industrial heavyweights such as CICT Mobile, China Information and Communication Technology Group Co, Yangtze Optical Fibre & Cable Joint Stock Ltd Co, HGTECH Co, and Wuhan Raycus Fiber Laser Technologies Co, as well as many little giant companies based in OVC, will display their latest technologies and products at the expo.
Huawei Technologies Co will have a 300-sq m exposition area at the expo for the first time, and many other internationally renowned companies from the US, Japan, the UK, France, Germany, and Finland will also take part, including Nokia Co and Oracle Co.
In addition, the expo will include a themed summit forum, three industrial exchange summits, 18 technology-based sessions, and nearly 300 keynote lectures, in which Chinese and foreign academicians, scholars, entrepreneurs, and high-end talent will offer their insights.
There will be over 80 mass professional procuring groups attending the expo, including major customers in the optoelectronic fields, such as Hisense, Haier, CNOC, Sinopec, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
